So why get so salty and angry at Platinum when they express their wish to bring the series to a wider audience? Bayonetta deserves way more and wayyyy better then what Nintendo audience gives her, cause its an amazing game, but clearly you can't look past Zelda and Pokemon which is really sad. Not ONCE do I see yall ask for Bayonetta, ever.maybe 2 or 3 mentions and you wanna know why? Its cause you do NOT CARE about that game, which is fine clearly hack n slash is not your cup of tea. Ok i created an account, cause I have to step in cause all of this is bloody crazy.for the longest time now, whenever a Direct is about to happen or any game reveal or anything Nintendo 99.9% of Nintendo fans dont care about Bayonetta, when asked what games they expect/want most its all about Botw2, Animal Crossing, Metroid 4, Pikmin, Pokemon and Mario. The third Bayonetta game is currently in development for Switch, and Nintendo is again funding development. For the sequel, Nintendo stepped in to provide funding and therefore owns half of the IP. The original game was published by Sega on the PS3 and Xbox 360, and was later ported to the Wii U and Switch. With PlatinumGames' shift into self-publishing, it's inevitable that other older titles will be revived, and producer Atsushi Inaba has revealed in an interview with IGN Japan that the studio is keen to bring the Bayonetta series to a wider audience. The company had worked with Nintendo on acquiring the rights to the IP, and at the time of writing the crowdfunding campaign has raised over $1,440,000. ![]() PlatinumGames made waves this week with the announcement that it had launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring The Wonderful 101 to Switch, PS4 and Steam. ![]()
